Pretty GEEKY, huh? But submitting your site to BLOG DIRECTORIES is a smart thing - and something many blog owners fail to do. Some of these highly specialized directories for Blogs ONLY are an untapped source of potential traffic that can help get a categorized, permanent link back to your blog.
Registration and setup can be a bit tedious as many Blog Directories require a CHICKLET - a small graphical, reciprocal link that you need to place (and KEEP) in your sidebar to retain your blog listing. In a way that's a good thing since it keeps mass/spam submissions from overwhelming their directories.
